Llerena takes its name from a little village in Extremadura, southwest Spain, where four generations of our family has raised Iberian pigs since 1939, producing authentic "Bellota" jamón ibérico, chorizo and other pork delicacies. Our family created a business around the farm called Jamón y Salud to sell our gourmet products and has now brought this exquisite taste of Spain to Islington with the Llerena Ibérico Tapas Bar. It’s our fourth visit, and every time has been amazing. The food has been consistently top-notch. We were recommended a special dessert — chocolate cake with pistachio dressing — and it turned out to be the best dessert we’ve had in a while.

Always a quality experience at Salt Yard. I hadn't been in years and brought a friend out of town pre-theatre and it was exceptional food and service.

Hosting team and waitstaff were so welcoming even though we were completely late for our reservation due to tube strikes and traffic. Food was delicious and so comforting. Truly a special dinner to celebrate my mum's birthday!
