Malin is a small neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Rathdowne Village, Carlton North. Set in an 1880s property on the corner of Curtain and Rathdowne streets, the site has been renovated to honour the heritage of the building. The food menu, developed by Chef Clement Pilatre, samples European cuisine and showcases seasonal produce and frequently changing dishes. The drinks list favours emerging wine producers, while also giving a nod to the classics. Malin aims to deliver engaging service 5 days a week; with dinner served Wednesday to Saturday and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.     We came as a group and all of us chose the chefs feed me menu. It’s was perfectly timed, the food was delicious, great portions. We all loved the warm bred with butter for starters. The staff where all very friendly and attentive

    Great dining experience! Food and wine was wonderful and the service was amazing. Very attentive staff in the best way possible, didn’t once feel rushed nor did we have to ask for someone to come over. The Resturant is absolutely stunning inside with its gorgeous Rosa marble and tronchi chandeliers. Such a beautiful fit out and ambiance as-well! Love the overall experience!

    Ms Ava is beautiful a lovely quiet dining area set within one of Melbourne's iconic & wonderful heritage hotels. Away from the crowds quietly located the service was excellent. My friend & I were well looked after by the bar attendant who took our orders for food & drink. He was very helpful & friendly. The food was delivered promptly we had the express menu. A good easy menu selection for lunch. The food was great well prepared cooked to perfection presented well. I highly recommend a visit.
