My only complaint is that they added a 4% charge for “kitchen staff”. I am really getting tired of more and more restaurants starting to charge extra fees, for staff, for credit card usage, etc., especially when not published to the customer beforehand. These costs need to be addressed as a cost of doing business and not being passed on to the customer as extra charges and fees. The cost of menus at a restaurant have risen significantly over the last several years without adding yet additional costs.

The food was DELICIOUS!! The best Italian food we have ever had. The Truffle ravioli and chicken parmigiana was perfect! Worth the drive from Mobile to eat dinner here.

On a cold winters night in the big easy, the warm bright flavors of this creole Italian destination were a worth the trip. The Caesar salad is quite unique with a spicy chili oil. The chicken parm is a huge platter served in deep red gravy with fresh made spaghetti. The tiramisu for two was with the trip itself. The bitter sweet chocolate dusting balanced the richness of the dish. Dominque was a very professional waiter. Her warm smile was the highlight of the evening

The ambiance and vibe of Irene's is always the wonderful foundation for the dining experience here. You have to just walk in and feel the coolness of the place. Sean was our server and provided interactive fun banter and well measured service. We enjoyed the ravioli, softshell crab meuniete and crabmeat gratin apps. Then it was on to the amazing sweet potato and andouille soup special, Italian wedding soup and Caesar salad for our second course...all delicious! The Duck st. Philip is not to be missed and we also enjoyed the Shrimp and Crawfish Fettuccine and Chicken Rosemarino...thank you for a lovely evening Irene's...will see you again real soon!

The food was exceptional and the manager Boris made sure all our needs were met. Too notch operation. This restaurant is a must when in New Orleans!!
