Amazing experience! Every dish was impeccable and clearly home made. The squid ink fuccilli was the best I have ever had. Will definitely revisit!

New Favorite Spot for Italian Food on the south side of Chicago and of course my local neighborhood. They made a small gesture on my wife’s birthday on short notice which was perfect. 10/10 food and drinks must try tortellini carbonara

This restaurant feels like a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant. It's within walking distance to McCormick Convention Center which is fantastic for dinner. [Not sure about their lunch hours/experience.]. Menu is not enormous, but has all of the key items: meatballs (delicious, tender, very flavorful), calamari (grilled or fried), salads, pastas and desserts. Generous portions, bread basket before the meal. The spicy penne came out piping hot and spicy--amazing. The linguine with white clam sauce was nicely done as well--generous with the clams. Tiramisu was enormous and really hit the spot. Service is fast, very attentive but not overbearing. Booths are big and very much like a traditional diner. Bathrooms are clean. a solid experience overall.

Connie’s is a staple on Archer ave on the South Side. I am part of group that has Connie’s on a monthly restaurant rotation and we have been eating there for a long time. it is a comfortable place with a large menu but we come for the pizza. Our small group of six all ordered small one person pizzas with various toppings. We also had the large house salad. I think everyone enjoyed their food and we will return when Connie’s comes back in our monthly restaurant rotation Service is always pretty good, but sometimes it can be a bit slow. You can always hear your party speak and that is a plus.
