Della Santina's Trattoria in Sonoma, San Francisco is a traditional Italian restaruant serving recipes mostly from Lucca, Italy. It was founded by Quirico (Dan) and Shirley Della Sanitina. With the passing of Shirley Della Santina - Quirico, his son Robert and wife Nicole continue to carry on the family business and Tuscan traditions. Quirico is the chef behind the menu and has provided what's been described as Italian comfort food in a gorgeously authentic Italian setting. When you walk in the front entrance you'll be greeted by truly Italian decorations and design, as well as fresh flowers on every table. Della Santina's offers a variety of home made pastas, antipasti, soups and salads, juicy rotisserie cooked meats and fresh seafood. Local wines from Sonoma, as well as Italian wines and beers are all featured on the wine list. Della Santina's received the 2023 Sonoma Index-Tribune People's Choice Awards for Italian Cuisine and Romantic Meal.

    I can’t say enough good things about Mama Taninos! We came for our 10 year anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. From the moment we were seated, we treated like family. Water and bread were immediately served and our order taken shortly after. The food has so much flavor and being taken care of by Kimberly, co-owner and chefs wife, really made the dinner experience so memorable. Can’t wait to come back.

    Our party had a fantastic experience at Bistro Don Giovanni! Our server, Gabriel, provided a wonderful level of service between making sure our wine glasses were never empty, offering thoughtful menu suggestions, or talking with our group. Dinner was fabulous and the delicious dessert was a perfect ending to the night. We can’t wait to come back!

    After two visits, we encourage Della Santina to upgrade service. Our server tonight knew nothing about wine ("all the wines are good", he said). When he cleared the table, he dropped silverware and clanked plates loudly in front of us. There were two parties of large tables that were very loud. All that being said, the food is very good, the prices are fair, and the ambience is wonderful.

    Everything about The Depot was wonderful!! We were seated immediately for our 5:30 reservation, and our server was very attentive from the beginning. From our drink order through the appetizer and finally the main courses, our server was very attentive and personable. The timing of courses couldn’t have been better, we were able to visit amongst ourselves and the items presentation was seamless and quick. The quality of the appetizer (calamari) and entrees was excellent! I can’t say enough good things about our experience at The Depot in Sonoma! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! 5 Stars!!
