Gale's Restaurant is a totally local Pasadena spot for delicious Northern Italian fare, tucked away from the tourist chains in Old Town. Celestino has always been our family’s favorite. There has been a big improvement in food quality and portion sizes (sadly the panna cota has still remained small) since I last patroned about 10 months ago. I’m so happy I gave it another try today! I will definitely be returning. I was there to celebrate a friend’s birthday, which I put in my notes to the restaurant and mentioned to the hostess. No birthday candle, song or treat for her though we ordered dessert.😔

There isn’t an item on the menu that isn’t tasty. It’s constantly consistent in every Bacari location. The service is always great. We love and we hope it never goes corporate.

The service and food were excellent. Pollo Mi Piace is my favorite main course and it was cooked to perfection. Minestrone soup was satisfying. I ended my meal with the Chocolate Trio, which was refreshing. I always enjoy my dining experience at Mi Piace, and will return for future meals at this restaurant!
