Kale salad with salmon Frozen Il Bracco cocktail Both outstanding

Very friendly service and interesting menu. Energetic vibe. Great ambience. Interesting people watching. Bit of a hipster crowd. We had the Branzino alla Sal, which is cooked in rock salt and brought flaming to the table and served table-side. My date and I concurred that it was the best branzino we'd ever had. Carpaccio special was good, albeit a tad pricey, but I rarely order 'market price' stuff, so maybe I shouldn't have been so surprised.

My server, Tiffany was a jewel! She was so happy and pleasant. I love the Simple Salad and can't leave without the meatballs on top of the best polenta I've had. The icing on the cake is the iced tea...I think it's a black currant flavor and it may be my favorite in Houston. (and I drink a lot of tea)

We had an incredible dining experience at Grotto! Our table had multiple food allergies, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Chef Germany personally came to our table to quadruple-check everything, which truly put us at ease. His attention to detail and care were outstanding. Our server was also extremely kind and attentive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Having worked in the service industry for years, my husband and I were thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and care shown by the entire team. On top of that, the food was phenomenal! The peach Bellini was perfection, the margarita pizzas were delicious, and the bread was the cherry on top of an already fantastic meal. If you're looking for a place that genuinely cares about their guests and serves amazing food, Grotto is it. Highly recommend!
