The atmosphere, food and drinks were all great. The most impressive of the night was our server, Minnie. Not only was she friendly and helpful, but she knew EVERYTHING about the drinks, the wines, the appetizers, the mains, the seafood, etc. She could describe the seasonings, taste, texture and make comparisons between dishes and recommendations on pairings, etc. I have never experienced a server like Minnie before! Go to Keoki's and ask for Minnie!!

My wife and I JA e yo est at Toy’s restaurant at least once a trip to the islands. I made a 5:15 reservation at Eating House 2849 on Oct 27. After checking in and being seated, our excellent server, Donovan, brought two menus. One was the usual menu and he also said the chef had a 3 course pre-fix meal available. My wife is 77 and I’m 78 and we just don’t have the capacity to eat a full fish dish. We share our main plates every meal. So when we saw the pre-fix meal, it was perfect. We each chose one of the two main course options. I started with Roy’s martini and my wife started with a glass of PinotGrigio. Both were excellent. We started with 3 pot stickers each. And chose the fried chicken option and I chose the misoyaki butterfish kamameshi. Each dish looked like it was the same size of the full order of kamameshi and fried chicken. Both entrees were exceptionally delicious, just as we had expected. Then for dessert, we were served a dense chocolate cake with cream and diced pineapple on top. It was so delicious but we hit our limit and could only eat half of the cake. This was an excellent option, the pre-fix meal, and we were totally satisfied with our meal Thank you, Donovan and staff, for providing us an excellent meal.

Tako appetizer best option imo and we were not disappointed … Mac encrusted fresh catch entree was great as was the ma Kai Of course Mai tai were delicious .. great value !!!!!

We enjoyed the cocktails in the bar, then moved to a booth for 4. The appetizers were all great. We had pork chops, excellent, i had ono fish, excellent and sister had the fettuccine with mushrooms. We had decadent chocolate cake with ice cream, was my favorite. The lemon meringue pie ice cream was sister favorite and lilikoi creme brulee husbands. We had 4 for dinner was better than Eating House dinner and was less price for 4 than Eating House for 2!

Kaya was amazing! She was so attentive and personable. She gave a perfect 10 out of 10 service! She made our last dinner on Kauai even more special. We will definitely be back and hopefully we can request her! Thank you so much Kaya!!
