True Chesapeake is a Baltimore restaurant born of an oyster farm. Executive Chef Zack Mills creates a seasonal menu that showcases oysters from our farm in St. Jerome’s Creek, Southern Maryland — raw, roasted, and in signature dishes like Classic Rockefeller and French Onion Oysters. But, the oysters are just the beginning. Our award winning menu celebrates the bounty of the Chesapeake region by using locally sourced seafood, meat, and produce to create exquisite dishes that evolve with the seasons. Chef Mills has been featured extensively for his use of invasive seafood species, a very delicious way to help the Chesapeake Bay. Don't forget to order the Blue Crab and Bone Marrow dip or handmade pasta. We have an expertly curated wine list, beer selection, and cocktails - both classic and creative. Ample bar, high-top, and terrace seating available for walk-ins on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Named after the Constitutional Amendment that enacted Prohibition and then subsequent Amendment that repealed it, 18th & 21st promises to bring back a bygone era through an elevated, tailored evening experience.     We were attending a special event held by the restaurant - "a haunted Halloween." The event was fantastic with a 5 course meal with an excellent "spooky dinner", specialty drinks, 3 readings of Steven King and Edgar Allen Poe short stories and music all in the beautiful 18th & 21st portion of the restaurant. The event was sold out, was a lot of fun and a very good value

    I happen to be here celebrating my wedding anniversary and we had the pleasure of having Luke as our server. HE WAS FABULOUS!!! It didn't take him long to take our drink order and he was excellent with his suggestion from appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Luke was so friendly and bubbly.. Even though he was busy he didn't forget to check on us but at the same time he didn't overly check (if you understand what I mean). We come here frequently and even though we have been to both locations Gambrills is the favorite. THANKS LUKE!!!

    Always an excellent meal. True farm to table, insane diversity on the menu, not one detail overlooked, creative. The staff is very attentive and nice as well, and proactive also. In addition , for the level of food -the pricing is very reasonable. Can’t wait to come back!

    We had a wonderful meal here. I highly recommend the Chesapeake spinach and artichoke dip and the half baked skillet. Jayden B provided fantastic service offered great recommendations. He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about the meals. Would dine here again
