The Comet Club is a luxury coastal chophouse from Chef Jesse Schenker and Lush Life Hospitality Group, located within the Vanderbilt Building. The menu celebrates prime steaks, exceptional seafood, an abundant raw bar, house-made pastas, and seasonal specialties, all prepared with a thoughtful, ingredient-driven approach. Classic cocktails, a carefully curated wine list, and warm hospitality define an experience equally suited for intimate dinners, celebratory evenings, and special occasions. Guests can dine in the elegant main dining room, gather at the lively bar, unwind in the library lounge, enjoy our expansive outdoor patio with a full outdoor bar, or host memorable private events in beautifully appointed spaces. Crabtree’s Restaurant is a Mediterranean-Continental eatery playfully named after Miss Crabtree from the Little Rascals. The interior is outfitted with nostalgic photos from the series, including an original autographed poster signed by actress Rosina Lawrence, who played the character Miss Crabtree herself. Crabtree’s interior isn’t the only thing that sets this restaurant apart from the rest.     The prime rib was outstanding, rivaled a steakhouse portion and quality without a steakhouse price!!! The halibut was equally delicious and the accompaniments on both entrees were generous and tasty. I’d like to mention even their complimentary bruschetta and bread selections (served by staff) is a nice touch to round out a complete meal. As always, service and attention to details was fabulous. Bridget added to the experience with her professional manner and quick service. Lino is always there with a smile and welcoming attitude which is why we enjoy returning and recommending Davenport Press. There are many options for going out near Garden City but at times other restaurants are inconsistent in service, food quality and preparation, here we are never disappointed. Thank you for a great meal & service. Laura F.
