Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We smoke for up to 16 hours using the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour.

    Absolutely brilliant. Loads of food for four, soft drinks, couple of beers and cocktails. Chopped cooked in beef dripping were to die for. All of the meat was top notch. Our server was an absolute love. £50 a head and we all left very happy indeed, so thanks very much.

    Classic Mexican restaurant with burritos and enchiladas. Good margaritas. Great hosts. People definitely enjoy bringing their dogs so heads up if you’re not a dog person.
