Inspired by the wood-fired Robata grills of Japan, Mizu offers a refreshed take on live-fire cooking atop the Hyatt Centric in the heart of Charlotte’s SouthPark neighborhood. Opened in August of 2021 and named one of 2022's "25 Best New Restaurants" and "50 Best Restaurants" by Charlotte Magazine, the rooftop restaurant by Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) combines the traditions of ancient Japanese cooking with Southern influences and Asian flavors. BAKU is a Japanese Robata-style restaurant that showcases outstanding Sushi and innovative Robata and Yakatori cuisine. Casual everyday dining downstairs with a upscale lounge upstairs. We specialize in creating an unique and memorable experience for every occasion. For parties of 8+ guests on Friday and Saturday evening, we do require a $50 Non-Refundable Deposit to confirm reservations. This deposit is applied to the bill at time of reservation.
